About the Role Formed in 1882, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH) is a major metropolitan tertiary referral hospital and a principal provider of specialist healthcare. It remains one of the nation’s most respected hospitals, with a distinguished history serving the health needs of local, statewide, national and international communities. The role is for District Services Workforce of Sydney Local Health District (SLHD). From time to time, the role may require you to travel across work sites within SLHD. The purpose of this role is to partner with senior leaders and managers to provide advice and support across all areas of workforce management, and to build line manager capability in leading an engaged, high performing and capable workforce that drives the vision of Sydney Local Health District, our CORE values and our commitment to Patient and Family Centred Care.Ideal Candidate Has tertiary qualifications in the discipline of business, human resources, organisation development or other relevant area and/or experience delivering the full breadth of human resources services within a complex and diverse workforce. Has experience developing and implementing best practice strategic human resources projects and initiatives. Has the proven ability to think and solve problems, plan and prioritise, and deliver results within a busy service delivery context, with multiple industrial instruments and policies, and conflicting operational priorities.
