Job Description

About the role: As Project Officer, you'll be responsible for providing administrative, project coordination, and support to the Business Systems and Reporting Lead and the wider Business Support Team. The role will be called on to support communications and project deliverables as well as coordinate maintaining Project and BAU timelines. As the Project Officer, your role specifically will: Provide direct administrative and project coordination support to the Business Systems and Reporting Lead. Support the wider Business Support Team with projects and advise on best practices for project support. Manage project workplans/timelines and other project documentation. Prepare papers and other documents to communicate project status, outcomes, and intent to key stakeholders. Develop and manage stakeholder relationships across the business, including across business divisions. Ensure all relevant internal stakeholders are regularly communicated with and remain informed and involved regarding projects and initiatives. Lead audit processes for service delivery across the Uniting network. Qualifications, skills, and experience: Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or equivalent experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; be organised, systematic, thorough, accurate, and disciplined. Demonstrated experience in general administration, project coordination, or management of large groups. Excellent interpersonal skills with confidence and ability to manage peer relationships to drive outcomes. Comfort with project management and task management software, with willingness to learn new systems/programs as required. Basic understanding of data manipulation and reporting using visual and other mediums (i.e., Excel). Experience working in transformation and change projects from end-to-end regression testing. Even better: Postgraduate qualification/s in a relevant field. Knowledge of and experience with client management systems. Experience in change management deliverables.
