About the Role As the Service Delivery Logistics Coordinator, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our science education programs run smoothly. Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for managing inventory, warehouse coordination, dispatch logistics, and ensuring operational efficiency. Your ability to stay a step ahead of our delivery team and anticipate their needs will be key to your success. Key Responsibilities Oversee inventory management, ensuring stock levels align with operational demands. Manage purchasing activities within budget, liaising with suppliers to ensure timely restocking and negotiate favorable terms. Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to enhance procurement efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Coordinate warehouse operations, ensuring an efficient and organized space. Handle dispatching and logistics, ensuring timely delivery of materials for programs and events. Prepare and portion chemicals for our science programs, adhering to safety guidelines. Assist with facilitating office and asset maintenance, liaising with trades for necessary repairs. Support the research and development of new science shows and workshops by sourcing new suppliers, procuring and testing new products before negotiating bulk supply, and tinkering with the physical build out of new demonstration equipment. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, clients, customers, and team members to ensure operational efficiency. Work closely with internal teams to streamline logistics and improve operational efficiencies. What We’re Looking For… Experience in logistics, inventory management, or warehouse coordination. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. Hands-on approach with problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to implement and improve operational systems. Excellent communication skills, collaborating across teams, suppliers, and external partners. Proven experience in supplier relationship management, including negotiation and long-term partnership building. Basic knowledge of chemical handling and safety protocols (training provided if needed). Strong computer literacy, ideally across the Microsoft Suite, especially Excel. Experience with forecasting tools and warehouse management systems. A proactive, forward-thinking mindset with a passion for process improvement.
