Experience the Kimberley region and make a difference Who are KRSP Kimberley Regional Service Providers (KRSP) provides a range of quality services including maintenance, repair and capital works to utility services including power, water and wastewater essential service infrastructure that improve the quality of life for Indigenous people living in the remote areas of the Kimberley Region in Western Australia.About the role We are seeking experienced and highly motivated Service Electrician to join our team.Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, this role will form an integral part of KRSP’s operational team contributing to our success by ensuring the reliability of essential service infrastructure. You will undertake cyclic planned maintenance and unplanned breakdown maintenance of essential service infrastructure including power generation, and distribution assets, potable water assets including bore fields, ground, and elevated water storage, pumping stations, water filtration, water treatment, water disinfection, and wastewater infrastructure.This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated team and contribute to a significant positive impact on the day-to-day lives of the members of communities serviced by KRSP.Key responsibilities of the role: Provide trade services in electrical repair and maintenance of power stations, water, water treatment, disinfection and wastewater infrastructure Fault finding and failure diagnosis Identify and report preventative maintenance and non-compliance items Complete necessary electronic and manual documentation Location The role operates on a drive in/drive out roster basis from Broome to remote communities in the Kimberley.Local Kimberley residents are encouraged to apply, as are candidates interested in relocating to the Kimberley region. FIFO is available for those located outside of the Kimberley region. The roster is 18:12.What you will need An ability to demonstrate a high work ethic, integrity, and safe work practices together with a positive mindset.Essential criteria: WA Electrical Licence Prior experience in a field service role in at least one area of essential services (power, water, or wastewater) Current C class driver’s licence with clean driving record Effective verbal and written communication skills with an adaptability to different audiences Capacity to work in remote location, inclusive of driving on remote unsealed roads Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a small team Desirable criteria: Medium to Heavy Rigid (MR/HR) driver’s license First aid, including CPR and LVR #J-18808-Ljbffr
