About the Role This dynamic role reports into the Head of Waterway & Catchment Services North West, and is based from our 990 La Trobe Street, Docklands head office. As the Service Optimisation & Enablement Manager you will lead an energetic, service-optimisation and insights team, supporting the delivery of waterway and catchment services across Greater Melbourne. The Service Optimisation and Enablement team, Waterway and Catchment Services, is: A centre of excellence for gathering and analysing information and data that provides unique insights into opportunities to improve strategy implementation, program performance and business and customer service outcomes. A hub for operational and tactical business analytics and process design. The ‘engine room’ of developing and improving processes and systems that enable the efficient and effective delivery of waterway, drainage and catchment strategic and service outcomes. We offer a hybrid working arrangement with 50% days in the office or at site. Noting Melbourne Water has multiple operational sites, it is mandatory that you have a Driver’s Licence. Minimum Requirements Highly developed leadership and ability to influence and negotiate with internal teams. Highly developed interpersonal, communication and influencing skills. The ability to maximise internal relationships in order to unify goals and collective outcomes. Ability to identify new opportunities and build a case for innovation and continuous improvement. A graduate qualification in business, data and analytics, natural resource management or leadership is essential.
