Your Role: As a Service Support Officer – Accounts Payable , you’ll be at the heart of our finance operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments. Your attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks, and strong time management will support our mission to deliver exceptional services to the community. You'll work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment. About the Team: You’ll be part of the Finance Shared Services Team , which includes Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Treasury functions. This team plays a vital role within the broader Finance Team, ensuring smooth and efficient financial operations across our organization. Key Responsibilities: Verify, process, and reconcile invoices, receipts, and payments with precision. Assist in month-end processes, including payment runs and account reconciliations. Prepare supplier statement reconciliations and ensure timely payments. Respond to and resolve accounts queries, escalating when necessary. Maintain accurate financial records and participate in audit activities. Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to financial reporting. What We’re Looking For: Certificate III in Accounting or equivalent experience. 2+ years in an Accounts Payable or similar finance role. Strong understanding of basic accounting principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Good attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently. Strong time management skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Possess a current National Police Certificate – or the ability to acquire. Desirable Attributes: A commitment to continuous improvement and quality service. Problem-solving skills and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
