About the Role : Our Alexandria service team is looking for a leader with strong fleet and service management experience. Working in partnership with the Service Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of a crew of up to 25 service delivery people who work across the greater Sydney region. Our service delivery people are a combination of direct employees and contractors, and you’ll need to understand the different needs and expectations of a mixed team of service professionals. Dedicated to achieving delivery in full on time, your team will require your support to ensure their equipment is serviceable and safe. They’ll look to you for guidance on the needs of their customers and ensuring that where something does go wrong, you’ve got their back to find the best solution for the customer. You will enjoy taking a down-to-earth approach in motivating your team to keep the customer at the heart of what they’re doing. You will also be setting the standards and ensuring everyone is on track to meet or exceed them by using the internal compliance systems and reporting. Key Skills and Experience Required : Well-developed people leadership experience, where the teams are on the road / working remotely from you Demonstrated successful experience in delivering to customers’ needs, preferably in a business-to-business service environment Intermediate to advanced PC skills, including use of finance, fleet, and routing software Drivers Licence As part of our recruitment process, you will be required to complete pre-employment screening which includes reference checking and health screening that involves drug and alcohol testing.
