We’re looking for a Settlements and Chargebacks Manager to join our ever-evolving APAC Finance team to help us unleash the potential of every business. Are you ready to make your mark? About the role: As a Claims and Chargeback Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the Claims and Chargeback operation and the Settlement and Reconciliation unit of the business. Your role will be pivotal to ensure all funds flows are concise, investigations and claims and chargebacks are carried out within our business guidelines and all reconciliations are finalized to meet our KPIs. You will be responsible for coaching of other colleagues in relation to this function. You will be confident in dealing with customers and making decisions. What you’ll own Collaborate with team members to manage daily processing on payment platforms, ensuring alignment with business KPIs Reconcile bank statements and merchant settlements on a daily basis Ensure reconciliation batches and corresponding entries are processed accurately across all systems Process and reconcile merchant/Payer disputes, posting chargeback credit card charges, bank account claims and maintaining documentation of claims and chargebacks Identify, report, and investigate exceptions to ensure the integrity of our trust position Continuously identify opportunities for process and operational improvements, driving initiatives through to completion Respond to processing-related inquiries in a timely manner Maintain up-to-date procedures for daily processing, bank reconciliations, disputes, claims, chargebacks, and refunds Foster knowledge sharing and cross-training within the team, promoting effective collaboration and communication. Other related duties assigned as needed What you bring High level of attention to detail A high-level of experience in Microsoft Office suite Inquisitive with the ability to investigate complex financial queries Skilled in analytical and statistical examination Experience with financial functions eg. Posting/adjusting financial ledgers Knowledge of the BECS rules and knowledge of specific country regulatory requirements Experience working with card schemes and card acquirers directly Able to work flexible hours Work well under pressure Ability to produce management information reports Experienced in people management Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team What makes a Worldpayer What makes a Worldpayer?
