Social network you want to login/join with: Shift Quality Auditor Location: Deeside, Wales, GB, CH5 2LB Client: Ardagh Group Job Reference: 348d1ab19b57 Job Description: Become part of the Quality team delivering excellent service & support to Ardagh Metal Packaging’s Deeside End manufacturing facility. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will work as part of the Deeside Quality team proactively ensuring Quality performance and to protect the customer. Liaising with all departments to assess, prioritise and reduce the Quality risks of current production. Key Responsibilities include: Support the maintenance, development and implementation of Quality ISO 9001 and Food Safety ISO 22000 management systems Build a strong relationship with all plant departments Support the investigation of internal and external quality incidents Be a key member of the shift core team to highlight, discuss and action risks to protect the customer from all types of Quality defects Meet internal, customer and third-party audit requirements Provide written reports for Quality incidents to provide comprehensive details of actions taken to protect the customer Propose ideas to reduce the COQ, defect rates, complaints and assess strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats for the department Requirements & Experience: Ability to demonstrate safe working practices Able to demonstrate knowledge and experience of using Statistical Process Control, Process Capability and Trend Analysis to improve the process Able to demonstrate knowledge and experience of using CI tools (5 why, 8D, Ishikawa, PDCA, DMAIC etc) to prevent or reduce Quality risks Experience of working with ISO standards, leading Audits and demonstrating good housekeeping practices (6S) is essential Knowledge of food safety standards is desirable Evidence of self-motivation, an ability to use your own initiative and attention to detail is essential Experience within a fast speed, high volume manufacturing environment is desirable Good communicator to all levels and able to lead and work as part of a small team Able to multitask, prioritise and organise their work to achieve daily objectives Education: 5 GCSE’s or equivalent including Maths and English at grade C or above. Analytical Skills - Experience of Statistical Process Control, Process Capability and Trend analysis is essential Quality and Food Safety qualifications are desirable Languages – Fluent in written and spoken English Working Pattern: 4 x 12-hour shifts. 2 days 2 nights / 4 off.
