Job Description
Underground Shift Boss / Shift Supervisor We are currently seeking experienced, highly motivated, and proactive Shift Supervisor / Shift Boss for our operations in the Goldfields. Reporting to the Mine Manager, you will be responsible for managing crews and ensuring the safe execution of the mine plan to maximise production. Your leadership will play a major part in the success of our mine. We work a 7/7 roster. Main Responsibilities: Supervise mining crews to safely and effectively deliver production results Effective inspection and reporting processes including daily production Understanding and effective execution of mine plan and mining schedules Optimisation of resources to best achieve production outcomes Appropriate guidance and direction to mining crews including training practices of crews Skills and Experience: Understanding mining techniques and ability to optimise mine production Must have at least 5 years underground mining operations experience Understanding drilling and blasting techniques Understanding appropriate statutory and mining regulations Ability to identify potential hazards and minimise risks Qualifications: WA Underground Shift Supervisor Certificate of Competency We require a current National Police Clearance valid within the last 3 months, along with the ability to pass a full Pre-Employment Medical including Drug & Alcohol Screen.
