If this sounds like something you want to be involved in, we are finalizing recruitment for a UG Shift Supervisor position. We are seeking a motivated individual who thrives in a physically active position and is comfortable working in a hot environment. The positions are FIFO from Perth, Darwin, or Broome to site or DIDO from Onslow, Exmouth, Karratha, or Dampier. Paulsens is located in the Ashburton Basin of the Eastern Pilbara region, 211kms inland east of Onslow and 180km west of Paraburdoo. Flights are to Onslow or Paraburdoo, then a two-hour transport to site. The roster is 15/13, alternating between day shift and night shift each roster cycle. About the Opportunity The UG Shift Supervisor is responsible for providing day-to-day leadership to the owner-operated underground operational team to ensure the execution of scheduled mining activities. Our team is experienced with many members having worked together before, who are focused on helping each other out and growing the skills and capabilities of the team as a whole! Working to maximize the utilization of the UG equipment and people to safely and efficiently extract and deliver ore, you are responsible for ensuring: Daily prestart meetings are conducted concisely and informatively. Regular and constructive feedback on performance is undertaken. Work areas and equipment are monitored and inspected daily. Production reporting is completed on a daily basis and handovers are executed well, setting oncoming crew up for success. About You Good interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative attitude is a must. In addition, we require the following: WA Underground Shift Supervisors Certificate. Operational underground experience including supervising the day-to-day operation including contractors and equipment usage. Demonstrated experience in motivating teams and driving successful outcomes in meeting plan deliverables.
