Shopping Centre Security Officers - Full Time - Western Suburbs Founded in 2011 with a vision of providing high-performing customer-centric services in Retail Security, Security services, Cleaning and maintenance management. We are currently seeking full-time security officers to work at one of our client's locations with an immediate start. Job Tasks and Responsibilities Reporting into the Client Delivery Manager, the Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and patrons of the shopping center and the retail stores. The successful candidate will have the flexibility to work on a rotating roster; previous shopping center experience is highly desirable. Skills and Experience To be successful in this role, you will possess the following: Current VIC Security License Current First Aid Certificate Proven experience in Shopping Centers and Customer Service industries Excellent presentation and grooming standards A positive and proactive approach Passion for delivering professional and efficient customer service Evening and weekend availability are essential Strong written communication skills, including incident report writing Ability to multitask and work autonomously in a high-paced team environment Key Responsibilities High attention to detail Unlock and lock up the premises Access control and systems Monitoring of computerized alarms including BMS (Building Management System) and fire panel where required and CCTV Foot patrols in and around the center Skills in incident reporting and emergency response Customer service and support including promotion of the center's activities and car park management Community liaison and relationship building with the local community and service providers who visit the center Supervision of facilities work outside management core hours where required Job Benefits and Perks M.A. Services Group has a very generous remuneration package, well above the industry standard.
