We are excited to be looking for one part time and one full time candidate to be part of our growing business – we offer great job security within a collaborative, safe and enjoyable work environment. ABOUT US - Newcastle Tile Co has been operating in the Hunter for over 50 years; we supply and install world-class tile products to Builders, Tilers, and Homeowners. We have been involved in some of Newcastle’s biggest landmark projects, like Newcastle Airport & McDonald Jones Stadium. ABOUT THE ROLE - The primary focus of the role is carrying out in-store consultations with a diverse range of clients - Homeowners, Developers, Renovators, Builders, and Interior Designers - providing face-to-face and over-the-phone advice and direction to help select fashionable and functional tiles for their projects. The role includes all aspects of the sale - including pricing, receipting payments, and completing stock checks. The role requires Saturday shifts; NTC will facilitate expert training from our team and industry partners. ABOUT YOU - We are looking for someone with an eye for colour and practical design, along with great communication techniques, interpersonal skills, style, and most importantly - a passion for providing outstanding customer experiences. If you have experience in selling building industry products or have a flair or qualification for interior design, it would be an advantage in this role.
