We are currently looking to hire a Test and Commissioning Manager to work within our Siemens Signalling Engineering Team, based in our Sydney and site offices. Create a better tomorrow with us. As Test and Commissioning Manager you will be leading the onsite test and commissioning activities for our metro customers. Your responsibilities are to plan, coordinate and supervise all test activities during the project execution phase, as well as to ensure that the installation is commissioned without disruption. The Signalling Test & Commissioning Manager works within our engineering team in Sydney and reports to the corresponding engineering manager. Your field of responsibility includes in the area of testing: Determination of the test strategy and preparation of test planning Risk analysis for testing, and definition of appropriate measures to minimize these risks Creation of the test plan Coordination of the preparation of all test documentation Identification of the test staff involved, and ordering of testing Coordination of the provision of test objects and the test infrastructure Checking of the quality of test documentation Evaluation and summarization of test results Preparation and archiving of across-the-board test reports Regular reporting on test progress and fault statistics to the Engineering and Project Managers Your field of responsibility includes in the area of commissioning: Preparation of modification, commissioning and acceptance concept Assurance of the performance of functional tests and commissioning activities Reporting and documentation of work performed Preparation and updating of inspection instructions Finalization of planning and results with customers and assessors Implementation of EH&S requirements What you need to make real what matters: Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent level of knowledge gained via alternative pathways Long-standing work experience in the field of testing and commissioning of railway signalling systems Work experience and capability of leading a team effectively and efficiently Knowledge about the Siemens signalling system architecture and products to be delivered as part of the project IRSE affiliation would be beneficial Why you’ll love working for Siemens Mobility: Flexible working arrangements National & International opportunities Positive, inclusive and relaxed working environment Industry leading parental leave package Novated leasing available Employee discount program Siemens Share Options Make your mark in our exciting world at Siemens.
