Job Description

Sodexo is currently looking for a Site Liaison for our Food Platform Team. This full-time role is based at our Balcatta Office and is a great opportunity for a highly motivated and energized individual with catering knowledge who may be looking for their next step into an office-based role. Responsible for all Forecast and Demand Management for the assigned group of sites, generating and placing orders after appropriate review and approval processes, challenging order requests that appear out of the ordinary, co-responsible with sites to deliver the Food cost target, and serving as the single point of contact for all inquiries related to recipes, menus, and supply chain. This position will be required to be onsite via a visitation plan to work alongside the Kitchen team to support the Menu planning and kitchen process, providing a consistent offer and managing inventory and costs. Responsibilities Responsibilities of the role will include but are not limited to: Key focus on Menu development and translating this into comprehensive planning on site. Managing a food cost budget and the challenges that come with unforeseen variables. Overall consistent management of the Food inventory system DRIVE from an onsite perspective. Supporting the onsite leadership team. Communicating and working collaboratively with Village Management and/or Head Chef to ensure the End to End Integrated Food inventory (DRIVE) are upheld. Collaboration with Regional Catering Manager (where applicable) to ensure all aspects of food services are embedded into the site. Ensuring that all central orders to site are correct and configured to avoid any service impact. Maintaining a single point of contact to resolve any product quality issues. Qualifications To be successful, you’ll need: Certificate III, Diploma or relative experience in Hospitality Operations preferred. Previous Head or Executive Chef experience required (minimum 3 years). Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of kitchen operations, specifically portion control and inventory management. Understanding of recipe and cyclic menu management. Ability to build relationships with current Head Chefs and Village Managers. Proactive in problem-solving and attention to detail.
