You’ve developed a solid understanding of financial statement analysis and risk assessment, enabling you to support clients while ensuring responsible lending practices. You are results-driven, eager to learn, and keen to grow within the business banking sector. Ideally, you will also possess: A good grasp of small business lending products and services. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A tertiary qualification in business, finance, or a related field (preferred). THE ROLE: As a Small Business Banker, you will help manage a portfolio of small business clients, delivering tailored financial solutions and driving business growth through effective relationship management. Your role will involve providing lending solutions across both commercial and retail banking. You will work closely with business owners to understand their needs, offer personalised advice, and provide exceptional service to support their financial success. Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with small business clients. Proactively manage a portfolio of commercial and retail clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention. Identify opportunities to strengthen client relationships and introduce relevant products and services. Provide financial solutions to small business clients, including loans, overdrafts, business credit cards, and other lending products. Analyse clients' financials, risk profiles, and business plans to offer suitable lending and investment solutions. Assess creditworthiness, conduct due diligence, and ensure compliance with bank policies.
