If this sounds like you, scroll on. We’re looking for someone with: Proven experience managing successful TikTok and/or Instagram accounts, ideally with demonstrated success reaching US audiences. A passion for social media and a keen eye for identifying trends in the parenting and baby space. Plus a deep understanding of both platforms' algorithms, features, and user behavior. Excellent content creation skills, including video editing, graphic design, and copywriting. You know how to create content that stops thumbs and sparks conversation. Strong project management and organisational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A self-starter with a can-do attitude and an entrepreneurial mindset. A relationship builder with strong negotiation skills. And for bonus points: Knowledge of or interest in babies, children, parenting, or sleep. Existing relationships with relevant influencers or KOLs. A portfolio of your previous social media work showcasing success in the US market. Experience with social media analytics tools. Experience running paid social media campaigns. Experience with e-commerce platforms and social commerce. About the Role: This is not your average social media role – although a key focus is on building brand awareness and engagement in the US – this opportunity has global reach. Reporting to the Head of Brand and Communications, you'll have a high degree of autonomy and the resources you need to crack the winning formula and deliver game-changing content. We're looking for someone who can take ownership of our TikTok and Instagram channels and turn them into thriving communities of engaged parents around the globe. You'll also have the exciting opportunity to build an in-house content studio so you can capture all your greatest ideas as they occur. Plus, you'll be at the forefront of our TikTok Shop launch, pioneering new ways to connect with customers and drive sales directly through the platform. Key Responsibilities Social Media Strategy Development and Execution Develop and execute cutting-edge social media strategies on TikTok and Instagram – with a key focus on building engagement in the US and nurturing our global audience. Trendspotting (and setting): Stay on top of social media trends including memes, formats, tropes and audio and incorporate into the channel strategy where relevant. Monitor the competitor landscape with a key focus on the US, UK and Australia. Face of the Brand: Create, co-create and curate engaging high-quality (including low-fi), original video and image content which connects with new and expectant parents – balancing branded and editorial content. TikTok Shop: Spearhead the launch and management of our TikTok Shop starting in the US, optimising product listings, running live shopping events, and driving sales through engaging content. Community Management: Own the day-to-day operations of our channels, including scheduling posts (optimised for various time zones), responding to comments, and fostering a thriving online community. Nurture brand Advocates: Identify, engage/negotiate and manage relevant influencers, KOLs, partner brands, celebrities (gifting) and healthcare professionals to drive trusted endorsement of Love to Dream and its products (executed directly or via agency management as required). Measurement: Identify, track and measure key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of activity and areas for improvement. Prepare impact reports and cascade in relevant forums. Content Factory Management Help build an in-house content studio for Love to Dream to enable more agile and cost-efficient asset production. Build the Space: Identify requirements and project manage the build, sourcing required equipment, tools and software in line with budget. Content Factory Gatekeeper: Establish processes and operational guidelines to maximise utilisation and protect equipment whilst maintaining the space and ensuring workplace health and safety. Always On Production: Utilise the space to execute social media and ad hoc marketing ideas in real time. Leverage the latest channel best practices and creator techniques whilst also supporting the broader business with bringing new opportunities to life (gifting, seasonal, customer sell ins etc). Seasonal Shoots: Lead the production of seasonal shoots in collaboration with the Head of Brand and Comms and Global Senior Marketing Manager – gathering asset requirements, developing creative treatment, source vendors (photographers), casting talent etc. Budget Management: Ensure the content studio remains cost-efficient – sourcing and maintaining equipment and props as required. Work closely with the Content & Community Specialist to establish rules of engagement and deliver a consistent and positive customer experience on socials.
