Our mission is to develop and deliver quality health and wellbeing services to the people of East Gippsland. About the role GLCH provides social support activity programs for specific groups within the community, currently including aged clients, clients with additional needs, and clients with dementia. These programs provide opportunities for social interaction, physical activity and participation in a range of activities to maintain or improve each client’s independence and connection to the community and maximise their quality of life. This role is responsible for the coordination of existing programs and the development of new programs based on need and client interest. These programs are supported by Social Support Activity Assistants and volunteers. Skills & Experience Qualification (minimum Certificate IV) in a relevant discipline such as Nursing, Community Care, Aged Care, Diversional Therapy, Allied Health Assistance or Disabilities, and/or experience in similar role. You will also need demonstrated experience planning and facilitating groups and programs and leading a team.
