Our client is seeking a Spatial Business Analyst to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with customers, develop business cases, and work closely with cross-functional teams to define business requirements. You will be instrumental in delivering high-quality digital technology systems and solutions using agile methodologies. The role spans from large enterprise systems to small information systems, ensuring all solutions deliver maximum return on investment. Key Responsibilities: Provide specialist technical and functional advice to system stakeholders and management. Lead workshops for business discovery for ICT applications. Design and develop business analysis standards, methodology and processes. Development of as-is and to-be process maps adhering to council standards/framework. Identify, create and facilitate process design changes by conducting complex level business and systems process analysis. Proactively contribute to continuous improvement of the ICT Branch by providing leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to team members. What you bring: Extensive experience working in a Senior Business Analyst role. Experience leading/facilitating workshops with business and technical stakeholders. Experience working on spatial (GIS) projects would be preferable. High level strategic thinking, research and critical evaluation skills. Substantial experience working collaboratively across a dynamic organisation. Effective project management skills, with involvement in delivering major system implementations.
