Speech Pathologist Position at Kind & Collaborative Empowerment Kind & Collaborative Empowerment is a mental health support service dedicated to empowering individuals' independence and fulfillment. We offer a range of services, including psychology, occupational therapy, therapy assistants, and positive behavior support (PBS). Most importantly, we specialise in neurodiversity and take a neuroaffirming approach to meet our clients' needs. Position: Speech Pathologist (Contractor or Casual) Location: Northern Gold Coast, Logan, or Brisbane Start Date: Immediate Hourly Rate: $80 to $110, dependent on experience About the Role: We are seeking a qualified speech pathologist to join our dynamic team, providing services to NDIS, private, and Medicare clients. The role offers flexibility, allowing you to choose your own hours and work from various locations, including in-clinic, mobile sessions, and work-from-home arrangements. This position is ideal for professionals seeking a balanced work-life environment. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' speech, language, and communication needs. Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to enhance clients' communication skills. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care. Provide support to neurodivergent individuals, tailoring approaches to their unique needs. Prepare detailed reports and documentation as required. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all client interactions. Essential Criteria: Full registration as a speech pathologist. Experience working with neurodivergent individuals. Proficiency in report writing and documentation. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
