Ayers Rock Resort is searching for a Sports & Recreation Centre Manager to live and work onsite at Yulara, NT which is 20 min drive from Uluru, one of Australia's most iconic and culturally significant landmarks.The Recreation Centre is a place where our Yulara community members can come to unwind in our upstairs reading area, work on their fitness journey with classes, basketball games, weights, gym facilities, and includes a 25m lap pool. We aim to have a welcoming and encouraging space for all community members to promote health, wellbeing and social connection.We are seeking a friendly experienced personal trainer (or group fitness instructor) with experience managing sports and leisure facilities, a passion to motivate and encourage our members of all fitness levels as well as contributing to engaging community events. You will have previous experience in leading a small team, designing and implementing a variety of recreational programs, activities and strong administration experience.Key Duties: Management of day-to-day operations of the Recreation Centre's fully equipped gymnasium, community pool and sports facilities. Develop and implement a range of programs, group exercise classes, and sporting events to promote participation among schools, colleges, and local communities within the region. Leading a dynamic team of full-time and casual Recreation Officers and Pool Attendants. To be successful for this position you will need to hold a current Senior First Aid Certificate, Bronze Medallion and qualified with a Certificate III or IV in Fitness.
