Stand-alone Payroll Manager / Senior Payroll Officer Jobs Work type: Full Time Location: Sydney NSW Reference ID: Email: Call: 0483945778 West Sector: Accounting and Finance Job Summary Growing organisationHybrid role with flexible WFH arrangementCompetitive salary package Job Description About your new employer:• Australian organisation with a strong national presence• Reputable and well-recognised brand name• Forward-focused leadership team• Growing organisation – organic growth as well as growth through acquisitionAbout your new job:Working in a stand-alone capacity your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Oversee the payroll function and provide payroll information/data to internal stakeholders Ensure the accurate preparation of pay runs are completed and processed within the required timeframes Payroll reconciliation, month-end & year-end reporting Assist finance team with Budgeting & Forecasting Interpreting various EBAs and awards and ensuring legislative compliance Prepare and process Worker's Compensation reports Complete statutory reporting for Workcover, ATO & ABS Review payroll processes and procedures and implement improvements where needed Manage projects including system upgrades for the payroll department Ensure all payroll information and records are maintained in accordance with statutory requirements Support all internal and external audits related to payroll Assist HR with preparing contracts and onboarding as well as other administrative tasks as needed Provide support to the wider accounting team when required About you:You will be an experienced Payroll professional and have the ability to take full responsibility for the payroll function.
