Reporting to the National Operations Manager, this dynamic role is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of GFP Events in NSW and selected QLD locations. This is a hands-on, full-time position requiring operational oversight, team leadership, and client relationship management. The role is based in Sydney, NSW and involves some interstate travel. Responsibilities Event Management: Oversee the delivery of graduation and commercial events, ensuring operational excellence and client satisfaction. Manage logistics, risk management, scheduling, and resource allocation. Ensure smooth event setup and pack-down, driving continuous improvements. Lead, train, and mentor an effective event team. Manage scheduling, delegation, and team performance. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and growth. Client & Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary contact for university clients, ensuring their needs are met. Provide strategic recommendations and tailored event solutions. Maintain and develop strong client partnerships. Manage event budgets, control costs, and optimise resources. Ensure equipment and staffing needs are met. Identify and implement technology and sustainability improvements. What You’ll Bring: Proven Leadership Skills - Experience leading event teams and managing high-profile events.
