Key responsibilities: Operational Leadership – Manage transport operations, safety risk management, and fleet maintenance. Team & Resource Management – Lead and develop staff, ensuring efficient use of key reporting systems and KPIs. Customer & Business Development – Strengthen relationships with key clients, ensuring high service levels and profitability. Compliance & Safety - Ensure adherence to NHVR policies, fatigue management, and chain of responsibility legislation. Continuous Improvement – Contribute to business growth and process improvements. About you: At least five years’ experience leading a transport operations team. Experience in transport/logistics management, ideally with an outsourced logistics provider or a large manufacturing environment. Strong leadership and people management skills. Knowledge of industrial relations, compliance regulations, and safety management. Ability to analyse reports, manage profitability, and drive operational improvements.
