Store Manager, Regional Health & Mobility A fantastic opportunity exists to join the Regional Health & Mobility team in a Store Leadership role. We are looking for a capable store manager who can lead the team and propel the business forward. The ideal candidate will embrace change and have a genuine passion for helping others. About Regional Health & Mobility: Owned and operated by the CQ Friendly Society, Regional Health & Mobility is a community-owned organisation that is committed to improving the health of the local community. With a network of four (4) Health and Mobility retail outlets in Central Queensland & Wide Bay, the organisation has been at the forefront of providing health, independent living and mobility services to the disability (NDIS) and aged care sectors for the past twenty (20) years. Key Responsibilities: Managing the day-to-day operations of our health and mobility store whilst providing outreach services across Central QLD & Wide Bay. Providing local leadership to staff so that the business continues to grow as the leading provider of health and mobility products in the region. Provide support and assistance to team members within the store, to ensure outstanding customer service. Continuously drive for increasing sales through 'add-on' sales and by providing input and ideas on how to continuously build sales. Ensure all stock is visually merchandised in a disciplined, customer-friendly, clean, and tidy manner according to the merchandising standards. Make an ongoing effort to extend and increase our selling skills, product knowledge, and customer care. Delegate tasks to all staff on a daily basis to ensure all systems are in place and ensure customer service is at a high level. Effectively manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive team performance and business growth. Rostering for the team and ensuring you maintain your allocated wage budget per month. To be a success in this role, you will have: Leadership skills and staff management Extensive retail industry knowledge Health/Mobility product knowledge would be advantageous An innovative and creative thinker Experience in managing people and building a high-performing team focused on exceeding the expectations of every customer Demonstrated experience in developing strong networks within the community. A knowledge of the NDIS, DVA, and My Aged Care funding models is not essential but would also be of an advantage In recognition of your dedication, we provide a vibrant and enjoyable working environment.
