The Office of the CIO (OCIO) is a multi-disciplinary team that drives operational excellence by consistently communicating, planning, monitoring, and evaluating performance for Technology for ING Australia. The Strategy and Performance Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the business strategy for Technology in ING Australia and managing performance for Technology. What you’ll do … Partner with technology leadership to articulate, refine, and align strategic objectives for the Technology function, while spearheading the development of functional technology strategies for the Australia Technology BU. Coordinate, prepare, and critically review comprehensive reports and presentations on the Technology function's status for diverse internal and external stakeholders. Support annual budget planning and forecasting activities for Technology, ensuring congruence with long-term strategic goals. Define, maintain, and report on key operational and strategic metrics to monitor the performance and progress of Technology achievements. Facilitate ad-hoc analysis, presentation development, and coordination for CIO and IT leaders to support Executive Committees, Board, and Head Office activities. What we’re looking for… 7+ years of experience in Strategy and/or performance role in a similar size organization Extensive IT expertise with a proven track record in analysing, structuring, and deriving insights from large datasets. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with experience in visual storytelling and crafting executive-level presentations. Strong commercial acumen with proficiency in financial modelling and budget forecasting. Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment. Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. What’s in it for you?
