STRUCTURAL DRAFTER/ SENIOR STRUCTURAL DRAFTER / DETAILER Location: Newcastle Company: Williams River Steel About the Company: Williams River Steel has been in operation for over forty years, establishing a strong reputation for delivering tailored construction solutions to our clients. Due to the number of projects along the East Coast, we are looking to recruit a new full-time Structural Drafter to join our team. About the Role: The position will belong to a large team of experienced and knowledgeable drafters. You will report directly to the Drafting Manager. Responsibilities: Design large commercial builds using Tekla or similar 3D modelling software. Detail structural steel and precast panels for industrial and commercial construction. Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure project requirements are met. Minimum Requirements: Relevant CAD drafting qualification. Minimum of 3 years relevant experience. Excellent knowledge of Tekla and/or similar 3D modelling software. Experience with structural steel and/or pre-cast panels. Knowledge of the design and construction of industrial/commercial buildings. About You: You must have demonstrated experience in detailing structural steel and precast panelling, preferably within the construction industry. You should be able to work as part of a team and possess an excellent eye for detail. We value our staff and have many long-term employees.
