We are seeking experienced Structural Engineers and Structural Advisors to support a major port infrastructure project in Queensland. Our aim is to strengthen the structural integrity team with a mix of experienced professionals and developing engineers who can contribute to structural assessments, maintenance planning, and strategic asset management. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on-site at a key bulk handling facility, evaluating critical structural assets, developing remediation scopes, and advising on long-term structural integrity strategies. The position is well-suited for candidates with 15+ years of experience in asset management, bulk material handling, and civil construction.FIFO arrangements are available for suitable candidates within Queensland or potentially New South Wales, subject to approval. Key Responsibilities Conduct on-site structural assessments to evaluate asset conditions. Develop remediation scopes for structural integrity improvements. Provide strategic advice on structural integrity management for critical port infrastructure. Work collaboratively with the existing engineering team to fill key knowledge gaps. Mentor and support less experienced engineers within the team. Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, safety regulations, and operational requirements. Engage with stakeholders to align engineering solutions with long-term asset management objectives. Key Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering (B.Eng.). Minimum of 15 years’ experience in structural engineering, particularly in marine and port infrastructure. Extensive experience in asset management, bulk material handling, and civil construction. Strong understanding of structural risk management and remediation strategies. Prior experience working on-site in an operational environment. Demonstrated ability to assess and manage the structural integrity of large-scale industrial assets. FIFO flexibility within Queensland or NSW (preferred but not mandatory). Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor junior engineers. Why Join Us?
