Multiple Full Time and Part Time Roles for a Dedicated Student Placements Officer Opportunity to provide a broad range of administrative and operational support for placements within the Faculty of Medicine and Health These roles have differing durations of between 9 months and 12 months Base Salary 99,455.00 plus 17% Superannuation About the opportunity The Faculty of Medicine and Health Education is looking for Student Placements Officers to join their growing team on a fixed term, part time or full-time basis. These roles are a fantastic opportunity to use your exceptional administrative and organisational experience to plan, organise, negotiate, and source placements. Currently there is a requirement for these positions to be on-site a minimum of 3 days a week, with a 2 day a week hybrid working. Hybrid working options will be decided with your manager if you are successful in this position. Your key responsibilities will be to: negotiate, source and coordinate student placements for specific units of study liaise with external and internal stakeholders to organise student placements provide support to academic staff to ensure placements are effectively managed use the placement management software, Sonia, to ensure that placements are being processed and delivered as effectively as possible provide support for both students and placement providers to ensure that a high quality, client-focused service is being provided undertake other duties and contribute to projects appropriate within the classification level as required About you strong administration background, preferably attained in a tertiary environment placement knowledge would be an advantage effective and tactful verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with academic and medical staff strong problem-solving skills and the ability to use initiative and sound judgment excellent time and workload management skills with demonstrated ability to prioritise effectively, manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and achieve required outcomes great attention to detail teamwork and collaboration Sponsorship / work rights for Australia Please note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. This role requires valid work rights for Australia.
