Student Wellbeing Officer - Belmont City College Join to apply for the Student Wellbeing Officer - Belmont City College role at Anglicare WA . Full-time (37.5 hrs per week) position until 30 Jan 2026 Based at Belmont City College Cert IV in Youth Work or relevant tertiary qualification, current NPC and WWCC Introduction: Join Anglicare WA’s Student Wellbeing Service where you will engage with students through a wide range of school-based activities, provide support for students to connect with professional staff within the school, outreach to disengaged students and their families, support young people to access and connect with community-based services, and facilitate school wellbeing workshops or programs. This is a max-term, full-time opportunity (37.5 hours per week) until Jan 2026, based in Belmont. Skills and Experiences: What You Will Bring: Cert IV in Youth Work, other relevant Cert IV or tertiary qualification that permits registration as a counsellor, teacher, social worker, psychologist, nurse or midwife. Trauma informed practice De-escalation techniques Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic school environment Contemporary knowledge of the issues impacting children and young people Ability to accept, respect and work with children and young people from a broad range of backgrounds and abilities, from different cultures, particularly with Aboriginal & CaLD young people, who may identify as LGBTQIA+, and from all belief systems. Understanding of the education system Ability to facilitate small groups Remuneration And Benefits: Employed under Anglicare WA’s Employee Collective Agreement Contract length - to 30 January 2026 Work only during school terms (maximum of 40 weeks per year) Working 37.5 hours per week From $43.08 + 11.5% super + annual leave and personal leave (accrued based on hours worked) Pay for hours worked (+ accrued annual leave) is spread across the entire term of employment contract, ensuring a pay every fortnight Additional remuneration for induction training and required professional development Salary Packaging Benefits (package up to $15,900 per annum) Why join us?
