In this role you will be responsible for the safe and effective day to day supervision and running of the Perth Mint Stores. Managing the ordering, receipt, and issue of goods in an accurate and timely manner, and in accordance with policies and procedures. Working at our East Perth site, you will ensure commitment to the safety of self and others, at all times. This is a fixed term opportunity, for 4.5 months, working on a full-time basis. Your role as a Supervisor Stores will involve: Provide critical Stores and Inventory Management support, for all internal and external stakeholders Train, supervise, and coordinate activities of the Store’s team members Ensure successful annual stock takes of all Stores locations both on-site and off-site, and perform regular cycle counts between major stock takes Be responsible for the management of company Inventory including appropriate stock levels, min/max and safety stock Ensure Inventory Management principles are followed in the procurement, management, and storage of goods, and balance this with the needs of the end users Establish a continuous improvement methodology applicable to the working environment that will ensure constant appraisal of end-to-end process Communicate efficiently to the requests from all divisions and departments Store all chemicals and goods in a safe and responsible manner, complying at all times with legislative requirements and company policies and procedures Ensure successful OHS Inspections are completed and maintained Managing on-site & off-site warehouse sites in an orderly, safe, and clean condition Ensure any reporting employees or contractors, as far as is practicable, are not exposed to hazards either physical or psychological, while working Experience: Demonstrated experience in a similar role Cert IV in Leadership and Management (desirable) Valid Forklift/High Risk License Strong time management ability Enjoys building relationships in a collaborative environment It’s easy to dismiss the perfect opportunity if you don’t see yourself as the perfect fit.
