About the role Reporting to the Director of Supply Technology and Innovation, this role will strategically lead the Supply Innovation agenda for Treasury Wine Estates. It encompasses product, process, and technology innovation, driving transformational initiatives and creating a competitive edge in the market. The role bridges technical R&D, strategic innovation, and operational excellence to deliver sustainable growth and value. Manage a portfolio of transformational and disruptive innovation projects. Partner with internal stakeholders to identify and deploy new products and technical solutions to deliver to the innovation portfolio. Scope new capability requirements to produce new product innovations. Scout, evaluate, and implement advanced technologies, including evolving fermentation science, biotechnology, and automation, ensuring alignment with consumer trends and business strategy. Provide technical leadership in areas such as fermentation science, packaging innovation, sustainability initiatives, wine adjacent/non-alcoholic beverage development, and food safety. Continue to evolve the structured framework for managing the Innovation portfolio and best practice. About you With tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Science, or a related field, you will have proven experience within innovation and product development within the beverage or alcohol industry. Experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering complex projects. Strong understanding of global food safety laws and beverage regulatory requirements. Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a collaborative and influential leadership style.
