Apply now. The Supply and Procurement Team reports through the Chief Finance Officer, Assets and Commercial Services. The team plays an integral role in the effective management of the supply chain, sourcing and procurement for the Hospital and Health Service (HHS). The team is responsible to deliver optimal imprest and purchasing outcomes and provide strategic advice and oversight of all imprest and purchasing undertaken with the HHS. We support the operations in ensuring they meet compliance and probity guidelines and provide support and education to ensure everyone is accountable for their responsibilities within the HHS. About the role: The Supply Officer will undertake a range of tasks associated with the effective operation of the physical distribution of Clinical Consumables. This includes assisting in unloading trucks, receipting, distribution, and delivery to store locations. This position can either be worked in from either Rockhampton or Gladstone Hospitals. About you: Movement and physical suitability to perform the manual handling tasks associated with completing the role. Knowledge of, or the ability to acquire knowledge of, practices relevant to the warehousing and distribution functions. Ability to communicate and liaise effectively with clients and staff. Ability to acquire the knowledge and skills to operate motor vehicles and materials handling equipment. What we offer: An hourly rate between $39.05 - $41.66 p.h.
