A little about the role An exciting opportunity to make a positive and lasting difference to the lives of families and children through the delivery of culturally safe family support services. These services are provided as part of the Family Support Hub (FSH) in a collaborative Partnership with South West Aboriginal Medical Service (SWAMS) as the lead agency. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Building trusting relationships with families to increase their safety, stability, wellbeing and capacity. Communicating with families openly and with respect for differences in personal, family, cultural beliefs and values. Working with Case Workers to develop, maintain and review tailored case management plans to address areas of concern. The base salary for this position is $73,795.28- $79,135.16/annum (based on 1.0FTE) + super + salary packaging options up to $15,900 per annum. These roles are permanent full-time positions. About you Our ideal Support Worker colleagues will have experience in a similar role within the social and community services sector. You will bring: A knowledge of Child Protection procedures together with local services and community. Your ability to write case notes and reports. Your ability to communicate at all levels, negotiate, mediate and build effective relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders. The ability to work under pressure and maintain confidentiality.
