We are based in Brisbane and are currently accepting applications for an Systems Analyst to join our Point of Sales team. As the Systems Analyst, you will oversee the coordination and troubleshooting of our software systems. Supervising and supporting systems analysis and providing suggestions for the new and existing point-of-sale hardware and software application systems. Managing data and quality, and resolving complex data issues across the organisation. Analysing and optimising system processes as well as work practices related thereto, encouraging consistency across business areas. Managing and supporting the decision-making process related to systems as well as providing guidance regarding the system decision-making process, if necessary. Determining and assessing system failures and providing best fit computer systems to cater as well as business practices to cater the specific needs of the organisation. Being responsible for operational solutions such as developing and implementing systems test plans without compromising the quality and reliability of the system. Troubleshooting and delivering assistance to identify, determine and resolve embedded hardware and software malfunctions. Cooperation with service providers and external technical teams to analyse, recommend, install and maintain client-friendly software applications as well as developing system specifications related thereto. Preparing operational specifications for system developers. Managing the integration of point-of-sale systems and new changes according to the policy of the organisation. Preparing documentation related to the trainings. Creating and supporting plans for new initiatives and projects and managing the projects with the use of project management methods and techniques. Documenting system logs and operational procedures as per business requirements. Working with managers and executives to plan, formulate, execute and archive business requirements. What we’re looking for: Minimum 2 years work experience Bachelor degree or higher qualification The ability to work under pressure whilst executing precise time management skills involving planning, prioritising and delegating Flexibility and availability to work across a rotating roster Annual income for standard 38 hour week excluding superannuation is $70,000 - $80,000 per annum commensurate with industry rate, skills and experience.
