Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Systems Engineer to lead the technical efforts of a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) project focused on upgrading critical defense systems. This role involves overseeing the integration and enhancement of radar systems, microwave RF links, sonar systems, infrared cameras, and an operations control center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems engineering, with demonstrated expertise in multi-disciplinary defense projects, systems integration, and international customer engagement. Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Coordination: Serve as the technical lead for the FMS project, coordinating efforts across engineering teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders. Ensure alignment between technical requirements, project milestones, and client expectations. System Design & Integration: Develop and oversee system architectures and designs for radar, RF microwave links, sonar, and infrared camera systems. Guide the integration of these systems into the operations control center to ensure interoperability and optimal performance. Define and manage technical interfaces between systems and subsystems. Technical Oversight: Perform trade studies, risk assessments, and feasibility analyses for system upgrades and modifications. Ensure compliance with international regulations, standards, and security protocols. Conduct system performance evaluations and coordinate validation and verification testing. Collaboration & Communication: Act as a liaison between the engineering team, program management, and international clients. Deliver detailed technical presentations, reports, and system documentation to stakeholders. Facilitate knowledge transfer and provide technical training to international customers as needed. Compliance & Quality Assurance: Maintain rigorous adherence to systems engineering best practices, including requirements traceability, configuration management, and lifecycle support. Ensure all deliverables meet quality, reliability, and safety standards. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). Experience: Minimum 7 years of systems engineering experience, including leadership roles in defense or aerospace projects. Proven experience with radar, RF communications, sonar systems, infrared imaging, and control center operations. Familiarity with Foreign Military Sales processes and international defense projects. Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of RF and microwave link design, signal processing, and sensor integration. Proficiency in modeling and simulation tools, systems design software, and relevant engineering standards. Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and secure communications. Additional Qualifications: Experience with open architecture and modular system design principles. Certifications such as CSEP (Certified Systems Engineering Professional) or PMP (Project Management Professional). Fluency in Arabic is a plus. Work Environment: This position will require travel to client locations, including international travel. Security clearance is desired. #J-18808-Ljbffr
