ABOUT US Established in 2012, Omni is a 100% Australian-owned enterprise which supports Australian Government, Defence and Private Sector clients. With locations Australia wide and over 400+ employees, we pride ourselves on our values – Trust, Respect, Agility & Humility – which ensure excellence and innovation in delivery, while creating long-term partnerships with our clients. ABOUT THE ROLE This is a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) technology. You'll be using the Kompozition MBSE platform (training provided) to build digital models based on stakeholder engagement and technical documentation. These models will help define systems engineering artifacts like needs, requirements, and test cases. Beyond the technical documentation, you’ll be developing workflow processes, solving complex modelling challenges, and applying systems thinking to untangle intricate system deliveries. You'll also play a role in refining the platform itself and contributing to team knowledge-sharing and professional development. If you enjoy tackling complex problems, translating technical detail into structured models, and working in an environment that values collaboration and innovation , this role is for you. WHO YOU ARE You're someone who enjoys solving puzzles and making connections —whether that’s in data, workflows, or systems. You can take technical information and distil it into structured, logical models that help drive real-world outcomes. You work well independently but also know when to reach out for clarity and collaboration . You thrive in environments where precision matters , and you naturally build traceability and structure into your work. You’re not just following a process—you’re helping shape how MBSE is used . That means you’re comfortable experimenting, refining, and improving how things are done. And when challenges arise, you don’t just flag them—you find solutions . Experience in MBSE, systems engineering, or technical modeling is great, but if you have a strong analytical mindset and the ability to translate complexity into structure , we’d love to hear from you.
