Reporting to the Head of Talent Acquisition (TA) & Onboarding, Australia and New Zealand, we currently have a new opportunity (backfill for parental leave) for a Talent Acquisition Business Partner to join a high performing HR team who are collaborative, innovative and passionate about delivering solutions and outcomes for their stakeholders. You will be part of a wider regional and global TA team and will also have the opportunity to be involved in broader HR and TA projects. We are happy to consider applicants with no prior recruitment or HR experience. Responsibilities: Ability to drive effective recruitment outcomes within a complex, global, matrixed organisation Deliver an outstanding candidate and hiring manager experience Managing multiple internal and external stakeholder relationships, often with conflicting demands and priorities Provide effective solutions to a wide variety of hiring demands across HSBC Australia & New Zealand including relevant administration and compliance related requirements Build effective relationships across the broader HR team Ensuring compliance with legislative requirements, HSBC policies and processes Ensuring accurate data is tracked in the Applicant Tracking System (Taleo) for real-time reporting and insights Work on additional HR strategic projects and TA regional projects across onboarding, early career hiring and operational and D&I priorities Requirements In order to be successful in this role, ideally you will have previous experience in an agency or in-house role as a Recruitment Specialist and within the financial or professional services sector OR relevant administration and customer service experience within HSBC. You will be comfortable recruiting junior to mid-level roles, building effective relationships with senior stakeholders as well as providing administration and project support on a variety of projects. You will apply your curiosity, customer centric focus, attention to detail, organisational and planning skills to deliver in our fast paced and high performing environment where success is recognised. In addition you will have: Demonstrated commitment to excellence, inclusiveness and outstanding ethics Experience in utilising relevant HSBC systems and tools for reporting and tracking purposes An interest in HR and recruitment (tools, techniques and methodologies) with strong attention to detail A commercial focus, strong networking skills and a passion for learning, a curious mind and continuous improvement Be a permanent resident, citizen or have a valid working visa HSBC is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued and respected and where opinions count.
