YOUR ROLE IN A NUTSHELL As a Talent Acquisition Business Partner, you’ll play a key role in shaping our workforce by attracting top-tier talent across both retail leadership and support office functions. From sourcing high-performing leaders to driving internal talent mobility, you’ll be a strategic partner in our growth journey. You’ll bring innovative sourcing strategies, build proactive talent pipelines, and elevate recruitment best practices—while mentoring and upskilling the next generation of Talent Acquisition professionals. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING End-to-End Recruitment: Own the full recruitment lifecycle, from job briefing and advertisement drafting to candidate screening, interview coordination, compliance checks, and contract management. Search & Talent Mapping: Identify, engage, and secure top leadership talent through proactive headhunting and sourcing strategies. Talent Strategy: Partner with senior leadership to develop proactive, data-driven hiring plans aligned with business objectives. Internal Talent Mobility: Track internal talent pipelines, identify future leaders, and support career progression opportunities. Mentorship & Coaching: Guide and mentor Talent Acquisition Partners - Retail, enhancing their skills in sourcing, stakeholder management, and candidate engagement. Stakeholder Management: Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, providing market insights and strategic talent recommendations. Employer Brand & Talent Attraction: Strengthen our employer reputation through innovative sourcing, branding, and engagement initiatives. Process & System Optimisation: Enhance ATS functionality and streamline recruitment processes to improve efficiency and candidate experience. Compliance & Reporting: Ensure all recruitment activities align with company policies, employment legislation, and DE&I initiatives. Strategic Projects: Lead key initiatives in workforce planning, diversity hiring, and talent acquisition innovation. WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE Experience & Knowledge 5+ years of talent acquisition experience, including search, proactive sourcing, and leadership hiring. Strong background in both retail and corporate recruitment. Proven ability to mentor and lead recruitment teams, driving capability uplift. In-depth knowledge of the General Retail Award, employment legislation, and best-practice recruitment methodologies. Skills & Attributes A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field (preferred). A strategic mindset with the ability to influence and advise senior stakeholders. Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills. Expertise in headhunting, passive candidate engagement, and talent pooling. A high level of data-driven decision-making and reporting expertise. Proficiency in leveraging technology and social media for talent attraction. A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a passion for people and culture. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
