We are seeking a talented and innovative Tax Technology Manager to join our market-leading cloud expert solutions team. This team empowers tax professionals across Australia and New Zealand to deliver cutting-edge compliance and advisory services to their clients. Your contributions will create a meaningful impact for accounting firms of all sizes, from the Big 4 to micro firms. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the future product roadmap of our cloud platforms, CCH iKnowConnect and CCH iFirm, by integrating Gen AI technologies. This is a full-time role with flexible working conditions. As a Tax Technology Manager, you will: Design, develop, maintain, and enhance content and workflow cloud solutions for accountants across Australia and New Zealand to support the efficiency and accuracy of their tax compliance and tax advisory services. Draw on your deep tax experience and knowledge to create solutions and practical content for use by tax professionals in accounting firms or in-house tax teams. Participate in customer & industry forums and conferences as a Wolters Kluwer thought leader, and occasionally participate in customer meetings to advocate for our solutions. Lead a team of Content Analysts to direct the practical content and workflow solutions strategy, collaborating with other product and commercial teams to shape customer experiences that drive broader business goals. Responsibilities: Develop and enhance our leading workpapers and practical tools offering for tax professionals by collaborating with product and technology solutions teams. Exercise subject matter expertise in tax law and tax compliance requirements to conduct ongoing reviews to refine and enhance existing workflow and content solutions. Monitor and update content and workflow solutions to reflect changes in tax law, ensuring timely publication of tax content. Understand the workflow and needs of accountants to enable them to advise clients and stakeholders on tax positions and business decisions; collaborate with product teams to gather requirements and feedback for content development and integrate that into the platform. Develop a thorough understanding of the needs of your customer group and create content to meet these needs; monitor customer feedback and business intelligence to inform the customer experience; execute content strategies to improve customer recruitment and retention. Direct, influence, and coordinate external solution partners. Manage a team of 3 Analysts. About You: 10+ years’ experience in Australian tax compliance and advisory services. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, commerce, finance or law or a related field. CPA or CA, or related professional certification. Interest in developing technology solutions for accountants and tax advisors in Australia and New Zealand. Knowledge of Australian and New Zealand tax law and accounting requirements, particularly the accounting workflows and tax compliance process in the small to medium enterprises, including individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships, and self-managed superannuation funds. Detail-oriented, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Experience using Office suite, especially Excel. Able to coordinate tasks and manage deadlines effectively.
