TAFE Queensland Gold Coast is looking for someone who can bring their core industry skills into the classroom and inspire the next generation of Engineering tradesmen. You will deliver the course in the classroom, through workshops as well as in simulated learning environments at our Ashmore Campus. The successful applicant will be a trade qualified individual who has a passion for the Fabrication Industry. They will be supported and mentored while they transition into their role as a teacher at TAFE Queensland. You will shape the future of the Fabrication industry by: Developing and delivering high quality modern training and assessment programs to a diverse range of students. Ensuring outcome focused vocational education and training (VET) programs. Linking with industry, schools, universities, & community to ensure success of our students. Maintaining currency with industry practices, workplace delivery and contemporary teaching methodologies and philosophies. Working collaboratively in a dynamic environment focused on positive student outcomes and continuous improvement. Mandatory Qualifications/Requirements: Vocational qualification MEM31922 - Certificate III Engineering, or equivalent, and Proven Experience in a broad range of current industry skills. One of the following training and assessment credentials:TAE40122 or TAE40116 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment; TAE40110 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment WITH UPGRADE UNITS - TAELLN411 Address Adult Language, Literacy and Numeracy Skills and TAEASS502 Design and Develop Assessment Tools; TAE50111 - Diploma of Vocational Education and Training; TAE50116 - Diploma of Vocational Education and Training; or its successor; TAE50211 - Diploma of Training Design and Development; TAE50216 - Diploma of Training Design and Development, or its successor; Higher-level qualification in adult education (approved by TAFE Queensland). A current Working with Children Blue Card (QLD) or the ability to obtain. Note: Proof of qualifications and industry currency/experience to be provided at interview.
