Teacher - Navy Electrical - Defence Delivery Mode: Full-time/Ongoing Salary range: $83,429 to $107,995 p.a. Plus Super Chisholm is seeking an experienced and student-focused Teacher for our Defence Delivery. ABOUT THE ROLE The Teacher- Navy Electrical will be accountable for providing professional teaching and vocational expertise, across all aspects of delivery, planning and performance to ensure excellent outcomes for learners, the organisations that employ them and the communities they serve as designated by the Australian Defence Force.This position focuses on excellence in planning and conducting teaching and assessment for the Defence contract. The role also includes resource development and educational administration.As a teacher for defence delivery, your key responsibilities include: Plan education practices and delivery sessions that reflect the most effective way to engage learners Ensure that teaching materials and resources meet all regulatory standards, training packages and related requirements Establish and maintain a positive learning environment, including encouraging students to take responsibility for their own learning Adapt learning and assessment materials to cater for different students, learning environments, facilities, and resources Undertake a range of administrative, coordination, and learning services activities directly related to the areas taught Assist in relation to the establishment, maintenance, and review of teaching programs Maintain a respectful and safe environment free from discrimination, bullying, and harassment ABOUT YOU You are a highly motivated individual with well-developed skills in transferring knowledge, including the ability to research, select and use a wide range of learning resources and assessment tools. Qualifications required for the role: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) or qualifications that meet the Standards for RTOs 2015 Certificate IV or Diploma in Electrical fitting or related discipline Registration with relevant professional bodies as required for the teaching discipline A record of Vocational Competency, mapped to Units of Competency engaged to deliver A record of Professional Currency, demonstrating current industry and teaching knowledge ABOUT US Chisholm is one of the largest vocational training providers in the state with a team of over 1,400 dedicated staff supporting 41,000 students.
