Teacher - Secondary - FlexiSpace - Miles State High School Teach Queensland (Organisation site)Miles State High School- Darling Downs South West Region Miles State High School are seeking applications from teachers specialising in flexispace. This position is ideal for innovative and flexible Mathematics or English Teachers who would like to work in a bespoke classroom environment for part of their full-time timetable implementing the Australian curriculum with innovative pedagogies and targeted strategies to support a smaller group of students in the area of Mathematics and/or English. This will be a component of the timetable, with the remainder being made up of mainstream teaching in the successful applicant's teaching areas. Our FlexiSpace Teacher will ideally be: An experienced teacher with expertise in, or knowledge of inclusive practice; or a teacher who is committed to rapidly developing their skills and knowledge of inclusive practice; Committed to ensuring students achieve quality educational outcomes by providing uninterrupted access to the curriculum and high-impact teaching; Committed to differentiating teaching practice and educational program delivery to meet student needs; Committed to using and sharing inclusive teaching practices with all staff; Committed to working with parents/carers, internal support staff, and external agencies to support student learning, engagement, and wellbeing. Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration as a teacher in Queensland. Pre-service/graduate teachers must have been granted provisional registration prior to commencing employment as a teacher. Employment for pre-service/graduate teachers will be subject to the successful completion of a relevant teaching qualification and meeting the minimum requirements as a teacher with the department.
