More information can be found on the Uniting AgeWell website - About the role: The Team Coordinator - Intake is instrumental in ensuring the effective delivery of services to clients while maximizing operational efficiency and client satisfaction by supporting a team of staff, promoting principles of wellness and reablement, optimizing processes, and fostering strong client relationships and contributing to the organization's success. You will supervise staff to ensure the day-to-day delivery of the Intake program, coordination, participation and completion of all training requirements to ensure our staff are appropriately skilled and informed of UA expectations and their contemporary practice. You will also be instrumental in the management of time, setting of priorities, planning and organizing the Intake program. About you: You are passionate about what you do and want to make a difference in the lives of our clients, enhancing their self-esteem and empowering them to make choices. This is the place for you if you: Have relevant tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Welfare, Community Services, Health/Allied Health or equivalent Have experience working in the Aged Care sector Demonstrate team management experience Have experience working with clients, families, advocates, and other stakeholders Can develop and support small groups and activities Have experience in writing support plans that actively reflect consumer choice and the wellness and reablement model Thrive in a team and also appreciate one-on-one interactions Are committed to being part of a workplace culture based on the B E S T way of life (Believe, Excel, Support and Trust) Essentials for working in Aged Care: A current Working With Children Check card Current and ongoing flu and COVID-19 vaccinations Australian working rights Ability to pass a national police clearance and NDIS Clearance Make a positive difference in your community – apply now!
