Job Description

Local, family owned business seeks a Team Lead - Fire Safety Advisor/Trainer with excellent customer service skills. Highly Regarded but not essential Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams and other leaders across the organisation Experience in the fire safety or emergency management industries (e.g. auditing, training, assessing) Qld ‘Fire Safety Adviser’ qualification Experience in establishing and maintaining relationships with clients Experience in delivery fire safety training (i.e. First Response Evacuation Instructions, Warden training) Be familiar with Australian Standards AS3745-2010 and relevant building codes (i.e. Building Fire Safety Regulation) Certificate II in Fire Protection Inspection & Testing (highly desirable) Responsibilities Responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team to deliver outcomes Organisation and scheduling of Fire Safety Audits/Inspections at key large corporate clients. Compile Fire Safety Audit Reports for building compliance. Face-to-face client interaction—building strong and positive relationships with clients Liaison with key site representatives including ECO members. On-site fire safety assessment and reporting. Evacuation diagram drafting and computer design. Development and review of Fire Evacuation Plans Delivery of emergency preparedness training.
