We are a not-for-profit National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provider. Our Head Office is based in Wagga Wagga but we are located throughout the Riverina Murray region. About the Opportunity We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate individual to join our Supported Living team. As a Team Leader, you’ll strive to provide a quality accommodation support service that meets the individual needs of our clients. You’ll have a person-centred approach coupled with the ability to lead and inspire a team of Community Support Workers. Your responsibilities will include: Coordinate and mentor the Community Support Workers in your team to achieve client goals and positive experiences for the people we support Lead by example to promote person-centred active support in all areas of the work you and your team perform Participate in the onboarding process for new staff members and facilitate an effective orientation program including medication competency training Collaborate with staff, clients, families, and other stakeholders to understand, address and resolve issues affecting service delivery Ensure adherence to the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Practice Standards and approved policy and procedures This position is full time operating 76 hours per fortnight, the successful applicant will need to have the availability and willingness to participate in a weekend on-call roster once every eight weeks.
