About the opportunity: Position: Team Leader Mental Health – Applications accepted from Clinical Nurse Consultants and advanced-level Occupational Therapists, Psychologists or Social Workers. Vacancy: Permanent full-time, 76 hours per fortnight. Location: North Ward Community Care Team, Mental Health Service Group - TOWNSVILLE. Manage the operational delivery of clinical services for the North Ward Community Care Team (NWCCT) within the Townsville Hospital and Health Service. The Team Leader will operationally lead, manage and be the single point of accountability for the designated team, providing clinical expertise, supervision and direction to other members of the team and carry a small clinical caseload. Requirements: Degree qualification from a recognised tertiary institution. Registration with AHPRA or eligibility for full membership to the AASW (for Social Workers). Eligibility for appointment as an Authorised Mental Health Practitioner under the Mental Health Act 2016 would be well regarded. This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis. 6-month probationary period may apply.
