The role MidCoast Council has an exciting opportunity for an experienced procurement leader who has demonstrated experience in leading best practice procurement. As the Team Leader Procurement, you will have the ability to identify and implement process improvement opportunities that will improve our sourcing, procurement and contract management. Day-to-day responsibilities include: Lead, develop and mentor the Procurement Team in Council's centre-led procurement model. Ensure day-to-day operations of the Procurement Team proceed in a way that is efficient and meets all compliance requirements. Provide support and direction for staff for all procurement activities. Contribute to the development of performance indicators, benchmarks, targets or milestones relevant to contractual commitments. We are looking for someone who is eager to build relationships with key stakeholders and act as a subject matter expert for procurement activities across MCC. Salary: Approximate range of $83,460 - $93,892 p.a. plus superannuation (subject to skills and experience). Location: This position will be based at our Administration Centre in Yalawanyi Ganya at 2 Biripi Way, Taree.
