Join Our Team as a Disputes Resolution Team Manager! About the Role: We have an exciting and rare opportunity on offer within our Workers Compensation for a Disputes Resolution Team Manager, a position which is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of our team of Disputes Resolution Officers. In this role, you will be at the forefront of providing a top-tier disputes resolution service, representing the Gallagher Bassett team during the conciliation process for disputed claims matters. Your leadership will be crucial in guiding your team to success through effective workflow and people management. How you'll make an impact Key Responsibilities: Workflow Management: Oversee your team's daily workflow to ensure efficient output and maintain high customer service standards. Leadership and Coaching: Provide engaging leadership, coaching, and feedback on technical, business, and performance-related issues, specifically with entry-level administrative staff. Skill Development: Collaborate with the Branch Manager to identify skill gaps and assist in upskilling your team. Team Morale: Foster a team-oriented culture focused on achievement and service excellence. Mentorship: Encourage creativity and continuous improvement through mentoring and coaching. Service Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in Dispute Resolution services and implement strategies to meet business and WorkSafe requirements. About you What We’re Looking For: Leadership Experience: Proven experience in a People Manager role with outstanding leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills, particularly of entry-level team members. Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Workers Compensation legislation and the Dispute Resolution process will be ideal. Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills with all levels of staff and external parties. Collaboration: Experience with partnering with internal stakeholders to determine how to best support various areas of the business. Time Management: Exceptional time management skills. Qualifications: Role-related or industry-specific tertiary qualifications.
