A little about the role This is a leadership role in the development of services and management of the Family Support Hub (FSH) in a collaborative Partnership with South West Aboriginal Medical Service (SWAMS) as the lead agency. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Providing appropriate levels of line management, supervision, support and training to the team to ensure that high quality, culturally responsive practice in line with Key Assets Purpose and Pledges. Ensuring the provision of training, coaching and support to staff including the use of the Practice Framework and any other practice skills. Working collaboratively with key stakeholders including lead agency the South West Aboriginal Medical Service (SWAMS) to ensure seamless service delivery. Assessing and managing risk and safety planning in liaison with the Department of Communities (DoC). The base salary for this position is $106,389.92 - $111,092.80 / annum (based on 1.0 FTE) + super + vehicle & fuel card + salary packaging options up to $15,900 per annum. This role is a permanent full-time position. About you You will have substantial experience in a similar management role within the social and community services sector with evidence of successful team development and growth. Our ideal colleague would bring with them: Social Work or other relevant community services qualification A minimum of 5 years working within the OOHC/community services sector with experience working in a child protection context Evidence of significant management and supervisory experience A natural ability to communicate simply and effectively, both verbal and written with a diverse client group recognising potential language barriers and cultural differences. Confidence in exercising initiative and acting independently while seeking guidance when required.
